Libby Edmondson

Libby Edmondson was a renowned Lake District artist, best known for her vibrant landscape paintings. Libby however started her artist carer as a ceramicist, she was a professional member of the Craft Potters Association of Great Britain and was a member of the Northern Potters Association. 

As a potter she used to build her pieces with craft-crank clay, which was decorated with a variety of textural finishes, coloured slips and oxides. After her move to painting, Libby commissioned some of her most popular ceramic pieces to be cast in bronze resin.
